Greetings and God's blessings to you in the name of Lord Jesus Christ the Holy One of God! Amen! Welcome to Women of Captivity, the blog that celebrates Captivating Womanhood - the God-anointed womanhood of the Bible! My name is Pastor Mistie. I'm the wife of Pastor Earl Holler, the Head Pastor of Hickory Stump Gospel Anointed World Outreach for Christ Center, a Bible-based ministry in the town of Hickory Stump, (town of the world famous Hickory Stump Steak Sauce!). I'm also the proud mama of Earlina (19), Mistopher (15), Royal (12), Alvin Samuel (8), Tabitha (4) and Hosea (18 months).
So you're probably wondering why I decided to start a blog and what I'm going to write about. Well, as the female Pastor of Hickory Stump Gospel Anointed World Outreach for Christ Center, I get asked a lot of questions by the women in our community. Questions about all kinds of things - Church, womanhood, being a woman, how to read the Bible, how to please God as a woman, family life, what it means to have breasts and a vagina when you're a Christian... all kinds of things!!! However, while I'd love to answer those questions from the pulpit, I can't. Because the Bible is very clear that women may not preach in the church. But the Bible is also very clear that they may preach to the world from their own personal internet blog.
So really, this blog is primarily for the women of Hickory Stump who have asked me so many intelligent, thought-provoking questions over the years and waited patiently to know what opinion God wants you to hold. This is where you'll find out!!!
Now I'm off to have a delicious steak smothered in the world's best steak sauce!!!
